Today I was helping out in a local non-profits office, like I do every tuesday. I was busy working and trying to listen to the Michael Jackson memorial. It was pretty emotional as far as public funeral’s go, and I finally had to go home. On my way home I was still listening to the program on iheartradio. I happened to glance up in the sky, and there was an airliner flying south of SD, probably on its way to Mexico or Phoenix, and I could not help but feel a sense of awe that those people on that plane were all listening to the same thing I was. To imagine all those people all over the world feeling the same things I was at the same time, about the the same thing, about the same PERSON. Michael Jackson truly is the kind of person who only comes around once in a lifetime, and I personally feel really lucky to have been able to be a part of that, part of that energy.
